What is WhatsApp Business API?
The WhatsApp Business API lets companies send and receive WhatsApp messages at scale through approved providers, using pre-approved templates and customer opt-in.
It is commonly used right after a call: sending a summary, a payment link, a location or a brochure to the person you just spoke to.
Business-initiated messages generally need an approved template and the customer's opt-in; free-form replies are allowed within a limited window after the customer messages you.
