What is Warm transfer?

A warm transfer hands a live call from the AI to a human while briefing the human first, so the caller does not have to repeat themselves.

A cold transfer simply connects the caller to someone else. A warm transfer shares context, such as who the caller is and what they want, before the human joins.

Transfers should respect business hours: handing a call to a team that is offline leaves the caller worse off than a promised callback.

At Vyora: Vyora supports transfer destinations and business hours so a call goes to your team when the caller asks for a human.
