How credits are charged for calls
Updated
Quick answer
A connected call costs 15 credits for every minute, rounded up to the next full minute, so a 1 minute 31 second call costs 30 credits. Calls that are not answered or fail cost nothing, and credits never expire.
The rate: 15 credits per minute
Every plan uses the same rate: 15 credits = 1 minute of connected call time. One credit is 4 seconds of talking.
Your plan decides how many credits you get each month, not what a minute costs. A call on the Free plan costs the same as a call on Business.
Calls are rounded up to the next full minute
Vyora counts the length of each connected call and rounds it up to the next whole minute. There are no per-second charges.
| Call length | Charged as | Credits used |
|---|---|---|
| 5 seconds | 1 minute | 15 |
| 59 seconds | 1 minute | 15 |
| 1 minute 31 seconds | 2 minutes | 30 |
| 3 minutes exactly | 3 minutes | 45 |
| 3 minutes 1 second | 4 minutes | 60 |
Short scripts save credits. If most of your calls end at 1 minute 10 seconds, trimming the intro by 15 seconds halves what each call costs.
Which calls cost credits
- Answered calls: charged by length, as above.
- Voicemail: if the call reaches voicemail and connects, it is charged like any other connected call. Switch on voicemail detection in the agent's call settings so the agent hangs up quickly.
- Not answered, busy, failed, invalid number: free. Nothing is deducted when a call never connects.
- Test calls: charged like normal calls. The only free test call is the one during onboarding.
You need at least 15 credits to place a call
Every call, including a test call, needs a balance of at least 15 credits before it starts. To launch a campaign you need at least 15 credits for each call that will run at the same time.
Vyora emails you and sends a WhatsApp alert when your balance drops to 20 credits, and again at 0. At 0, running campaigns stop and incoming calls pause until you top up. A call that is already connected finishes, so the balance can go slightly below zero.
Credits never expire
Credits from your plan, from credit packs and from referrals stay in your balance until you use them. They are never reset at renewal. Each monthly renewal adds the plan's credits to whatever you already have.
If your plan lapses, your workspace moves to the Free plan and keeps its credits.
See every charge
Open Credits in the dashboard sidebar. Transaction history lists every call charge with the contact, the agent, the credits used and your balance after it, plus every top-up and plan renewal. Download PDF saves the list.

Estimate what a campaign will cost
Campaign Builder shows an estimate before launch: contacts x 15 credits, which assumes every contact answers and talks for up to one minute. In practice not everyone answers, and unanswered calls are free, so most campaigns use less than the estimate.
